Remembering this notice

When you select “Got it”, we store iyt-cookie-notice-v2 with the value dismissed in this website’s session storage. This remembers your dismissal while you browse within that tab. It is not an identifier and is not sent to our server.

Session storage normally ends when you close the tab, although browser session-restore features can retain it. You can remove it through your browser’s site-data controls. If storage is blocked, the site still works, but the notice may reappear. The “Cookie notice” button in the footer lets you reopen it.

Security and spam protection

We use security checks to protect our website and enquiry form from spam and automated abuse. These checks process technical information about your browser and device and can use cookies and local storage. They are separate from our cookie-free analytics and are not used for advertising.

• cf_clearance — a security cookie on improveyourtech.co.uk that records information used for security checks and challenge clearance. In our latest browser check it was set to expire after one year. It may be renewed by the security service or removed earlier through your browser settings.
• cf.turnstile.u — a local-storage entry within the security widget at challenges.cloudflare.com, used as part of its anti-abuse checks. Local storage has no browser-enforced expiry date; this entry may remain until the security service or your browser clears it. You can remove it through your browser’s site-data controls.

Storage can vary with the security checks needed for a visit. Our privacy policy explains how technical information is handled. If you cannot use the protected form, you can contact us by email instead.
